We went up to Lake Lanier yesterday with our friends Jaclyn and Cameron and their tiny baby Raylynn. Charlotte was having a fussy day, but she still had fun. She refused to wear her bathing suit for the first couple hours, so she just walked around in her little red swim diaper, looking like the girl on the sunscreen bottle. She liked the water as long as I was holding her, and the sand was pretty fun. She really liked snuggling in our towels and relaxing on beach chairs.We enjoyed hot dogs on the grill while Char went to town with the watermelon, dribbling juice and seeds down her belly. Not a bad way to spend a Saturday.

No, not the water park--just a quiet beachy area. I'm sure the water park is packed these days.

It's me, Dionne! I came across your blog a couple of months ago when you commented on mine, but I can't remember if I ever wrote back. Your family is beautiful! I think Charlotte looks so much like a miniature Ann Butler! She is so cute. I love her Halloween costume, too. (I had to look back at all I've missed!) I hope you guys are doing well.
