New Foods

Charlotte has substantially expanded her diet these last two weeks. She has now been introduced to sweet potatoes, peas, and bananas. (I figure that rice cereal (a.k.a. prison gruel) doesn't count as real food.) Sweet potatoes seem to be her favorite so far; unfortunately, they're also the least clothing-friendly. Watch the video below to see Charlotte's first experience with solid food. Note the audience's rapture with her antics and stay tuned until the end for an especially comic reaction.

I love this! Starting solids is sooo fun! hee hee Yes, I did cut Ava's hair. Glad you think it's cute. :) I'm happy to see you guys are adjusting there. What a fun new adventure. Tell your hubby good luck with school! I'm sure you guys will love being there...other than feeling slightly cramped. :)

Awww! Well, at least I get to see some of what I'm missing. The Pirate Eye was definitely my favorite. She has a really cute laugh, too. Keep posting so I can keep updated on what's going on!

Solid foods would have been a lot more fun if ours wasn't such a spitter upper! I can still identify stains in our carpet by vegetable (that one's peas, that one's squash, etc.). We know all about moving in with the parents, and about fitting everything into a single bedroom. It just makes it that much sweeter when you're in your own place again. Tell Shawn good luck in school!
